Anvay ("we", "our", "us") operates the Anvay mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored hashed), and role (trainee, coach, institute).
• Profile information: sports preferences, coach/institute profiles, bio, photos, and verification documents you upload.
• Location data: approximate or precise location when you grant permission, used to find coaches, institutes, and nearby games.
• Activity data: bookings, inquiries, reviews, community games, performance records, and reports you submit.
• Payment information: payment transactions are processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card details on our servers.
• Device information: device type, operating system, and app diagnostics for security and fraud prevention.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Match trainees with coaches and institutes near you
• Process bookings, inquiries, and payments
• Send service-related notifications
• Improve safety, detect abuse, and enforce our policies
• Comply with legal obligations

Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

• Other users: profile details you choose to make public (e.g., coach listings, reviews).
• Service providers: hosting, analytics, and payment processors (including Razorpay).
• Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete account). Upon deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Children

Anvay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.
